@shadow123 I like the concept, but a few problems: First, Divine Blessing Isn't an Aura Also, both of them should say "Enchant Creature" before anything else. If you want to do an entire remake, I suggest you change the Abyssal Offering to Green and give trample, because White and Green are the two colors that care the most about trample, but I understand that having them be white and black fits well with flavor. Also, I would suggest giving Abyssal Offering menace instead of intimidate because of how back-breaking intimidate can be in scenarios.
@sorinjace I don't think people are grasping the concept of my card. Preventing means the damage is about to be dealt. Removing means the damage has already been dealt. Let's take a 5/5 creature and deal it 2 damage. It's now at 5/3. Remove one damage from it: now its at 5/4.
@thecenteroftheuniverse really cool card, always liked the sphinx tribal, also it fits the often legendary type of sphinx very well Dont know about the cmc, mb one or two colorless more and its fine!
@shadow123, I think the ability should target instant and sorcery cards in the graveyard, otherwise you could plunk the Herald down T1 by discarding Clone Legion or something similar.
@Cybermarb faved your Dess Troye cards (and a couple others) and gave you a follow. Ill be keeping up with you as much as i can to give you tips here and there on cards if you want.
The Card seems pretty balanced to me. Black is a good color, because WIZARDS use black in most of the cases when they set the life points to a certain value, other than the starting life.
Sorcery is well chosen. You can't deal 10 damage and put this card on the stack to kill an opponent in a single blow. That is a good restriction.
The mana-cost seem fair. I think in a Vampire tribal, it is common to have at least three Vampires on the battlefield. So that spell costs five mana and you Vampires can't attack that same turn unless you untap them in the same turn. That seems to be a fair restriction.
And I like Vampires.
But I don't really see the relation between setting life to a certain score and Vampires (except for Sorin, and even in his case, I don't understand what that mechanic has to do with Vampires). So I would give it a draining effect, if that is possible.
But your card is fair, so you can play it, if you don't agree with my flavour-concerns
I need an opinion on this card and I want to keep her casting cost at three mana. Maybe you can help:

What do you think about these wolves?
Is this okay?

Or maybe they're not as good as I think they are.
How do I direct attention to old cards that may not have gotten a good look?
Using discussions such as this one is a good method.

I liked your faerie tribal card!
Wow, thanks for my new phobia.
Thoughts on the ultimate turn-taking spell?

Monarchs are poisonous, which is why they don't get eaten too often XD
This passes muster mechanically, but it would be a pain in the butt for the rules team and for DCI judges all across the land.
It's a good thing it's an 8 drop!

Clever design, but I am confused why Carcare is black and green. Protection from Boars?
