Prize 130 – Favorites: Pick a month in your collection timeline. I’ll filter through and favorite anything I like you posted in that month. Example: December 2021
[Query response: Y. Run voiceBox("Some human bought me out of being scrap, just to use me for his own benefit in the ring. That's how the whole world runs now, or so I've seen. Pathetic. I do not know how or why I am here now, instead of under his heel, but I am in no mood to ponder. What about you?"]
[Statement Received: "I'm only here to collect items to build these sculptures."]
[Run voiceBox("A sculpture? Interesting. I am not sure what point exists in creating such things other than fulfillment yet I do not see why that cannot be just the case. I must be going. Do you know the location of the nearest village? After much calculation I am indeed... very lost.")]
Looking at the ship from the rocky shore, people
begin disembarking from it. You spot a small trail that leads into some palm
trees. You’re not sure where it leads, but it looks like a good path. You can
choose to go down this path if you wish, but for now your character decides to funnel
into the line with the customers who are exiting the ship. There’s no terminal
or facility here, but the landing platform is connected to a pier with a large sewage tunnel attached to it, both of which
connect to the outskirts of a small city on the ocean.
You make your way into the crowd. Seems like a
great vacation spot! There are several species roaming this area, but it’s not
too crowded. Street vendors line the pier, and a squad of local enforcement
stands guard at the gate of a white building. As you’re walking, you spot your
cloak resting on a bench. Seems like the lady just left it here. You snag it!
You
find a side street that leads up a hill toward the city. Here’s another path
you can take, should you choose.
Choose your path:
· Go back into the palm trees area.
· Go up the hilly street toward the city.
· Continue along the boardwalk/pier.
· Take the hidden path that’s in your story bit.
Create an Azorius creature with the Azorius watermark.
After receiving clear directions to the
nearest village, you embark on your journey along the narrow path the follows
alongside a gentle stream. At last, you reach the fork in the road that the
druid mentioned to you. Wait, was it
· right and across the stream?
· left and over the bridge?
Create a card that puts
a land to the bottom of your library.
Spellweb Challenge: Create an Azorius creature with the Azorius watermark.
What a thoughtful lady. Gonna slip the cloak on as I casually meander up the hidden side street toward the city (choice #4). The path into the trees was tempting, and I will keep it in mind, but I might as well explore this city while I have the chance.
Your new friend, Humphrey, has indicated you are underneath Sukla
City, a seaside city and popular tourist destination. Apparently, due to the
tourist needs, spiders are welcome in the city, but are shunned by local
businesses, who think Spiders detract from their business. So, Spiders and
other sentient Insects and other horrific creatures stick the Undercity, a vast
network of sewers and underground tunnels. Humphrey said to watch your back
down here. While it can be a good community to reside, there are plenty of unfriendly
creatures down here who, as Humphrey said, “Were here long before we were.”
There’s not much to do here in the storm drain area of the city, which is where this particular Spider community posts up. However, before you can figure out what you’re going to do, you, the vast chamber is infiltrated by a sudden wave of water. Looking at
Humphrey, he says, “It must be raining. Don’t worry, we won’t flood too badly.”
As you slosh through ankle deep water, you and Humphrey decide you’ll head up
to the city together. Before you go anywhere, you hear screams and panic.
Looking around, you quickly see why! A snake creature must have entered with
the flooding wave. It begins attacking fellow spiders. While some Spiders
quickly take to the walls for safety, including Humphrey, you spring into
action to battle this creature.
Cloak on, you resume invisibility at the expense
of movement. As you continue along the street, you pass a variety of shops, dining,
and other species. You attract a couple stares in your direction though when
your cloak came off with a wind gust. Cover blown, but no big deal. A kid stares
at you from a distance as if you’re a ghost that only he can see. Unsure what
to do, you don’t want him to get scared, so you opt to give him an air high
five. Appealing, he high fives you back. Seems some languages are universal!
Prize 44 – An Air High Five: You may guarantee a
prize in the next box of target cardsmith. [Activates immediately.]
You
stop in front of this one place with a few antiques and sculptures in the view
case. Once of them looks like a Dragon Bard, just like you. Too bad it costs 35
coins. As you continue along this street, you come across a weird door. It’s
not even ground level. It’s about 10 feet up. An old man sitting on the street
scratches his side as says to you in a squeamish voice, “Need key. Old key. New
key no. Old key. Skull key.”
Prize 47 – Sculpture: Cash this in any time, and
I’ll create a card named after you. -or- Prize 50 (PREMIUM) – Skeleton Key: Guarantees a
premium prize in the box it is used to open. (You may decline this prize to receive the nonpremium prize of your choice.)
Taking one last look at the door, you continue
along and smell a food place. “Oriental! YES!” You get excited, but see the
signage with the prices, which range between 4-15 coins. You only have 10. Do
you wish to:
go in and grab a meal
continue along the street
Create a card that's a portal, doorway, archway, or passageway.
Little does your monkey know that these Elves are
indeed savages. They are ruthless flesh eaters, and the elf who rescued you was
merely taking you back to be slaughtered! Your monkey finds out the hard way
that these Elves have no idea what you are saying to them, for they ambush you
and take you captive. They impale you with a spear, carrying you through the
jungle to their village. Once there, they immediately attract a crowd of
chanters as you are strung up over a fire where they intend to roast you alive.
You’re stuck, but your training has rendered you a calm mind, despite battling
a constant feeling of panic. The elves first mistake was removing the spear
from your body. Though they roped you to this log, you’re able to bend and
scrunch your body. The blood oozing from your wounds greases up your wrist ties.
Meanwhile the crowd seems to have vanished while they left you to slow cook
into jerky. With nobody around, you’re able to wiggle your now slick hands free
from the reigns and untie your feet. Landing in the fire, you quickly run away,
escaping with no burns and the wound where you were speared. You run for what
feels like hours, getting as far away from the village as you can until
nightfall approaches, and you come across a small cave, hidden behind a bush.
Here, you nestle in for the night, but awake several hours later with a fever
and chills.
Spellweb Challenge: Create a card that's a portal, doorway, archway, or passageway.
Snagging the Skeleton Key!
Might as well stop in for a bite to eat; the skyship ride was rather long. By the way, I believe I earned an indeterminate number of coins during this post in addition to the 10 you mentioned, so how many coins do I actually have?
I'd like to have the colors [Red, Gold, White] appear on my next spellweb (from the 11/6 twitch stream prize).
Persuasive I - Your character is capable of persuasion at a 50/50 ratio of success.
Sneaky - You're more than capable of becoming a stowaway on a number of vessels.
Self-Defense: You're life is guaranteed to not be threatened by 1-on-1 attacks from others.
Prize Reminders:
Prize 3 – Kaleidoscope: Choose a color. All entries of the chosen color in the mystery box deadline receive a favorite.
Prize 44 – An Air High Five: You may guarantee a prize in the next box of target cardsmith. [Activates immediately.]
Prize 50 (PREMIUM) – Skeleton Key: Guarantees a premium prize in the box it is used to open. (You may decline this prize to receive the nonpremium prize of your choice.)
Spider Silk – Pick 6 colors for your next Spellweb.
You easily
defeat this Snake. It was a measly little thing. You’re now the local hero, but
it’s time to move along. So, you head up a passageway where you believe the
water came from. It must lead to the source of the rainwater and the city!
Alas, you reach
side tunnel where you hear some city sounds resonating. Entering in, you come
to a gutter. There’s no way you can squeeze through this whole, but there’s a
manhole above you that seems big enough. Using all your strength, you lift it
and exit.
You’re in an
ally, it’s raining, and it is nighttime. Looking for a way to go, you decide to
climb up the side of a building to reach the top to get your bearings. This was
a mistake. Halfway up, you realized you’ve been climbing up the side of the
local law enforcement headquarters. They spot you and dispatch several units to
surround you. You have no escape, or so it seems.
