Well, Zendikar is also very primal, in my opinion. There is a vast source of elementals, and there is a huge connection between lands and players, as MTG wiki stated:
Zendikar is the "land set"; it is centered around lands and players' interaction with lands.[4][5] Besides Landfall and enemyfetch lands, the set features special full art basic lands similar to those that appeared in Unglued and Unhinged.
Well, Zendikar is not primal, but natural. Primal relates more or less to creatures, and the feeling of crudeness. Like an old stone arrow, which is primal. This set will certainly be compared to Zendikar, but that's okay! MaRo said that some of the most common questions about ELD, were: "But what about Dominaria?" That's just what I believe @The-DM.
@LordTachanka123 I really like the idea of amolga, or whatever it'll end up being called. I myself was trying to figure out how to flavorfully justify evolution being a core mechanical theme, and I believe you just came up with the solution.
On the topic of snow mana, I'm not the biggest fan of returning to in this set. Not only are snow permanents heavily associated with Terisiare, but they're also incredibly parasitic.
Hmm, there are some interesting discussions going on here, for lore the Amolga could have been here for whatever reason then (something bad happened) so then tiny bits of it fled to other planes. Thus everywhere started advancing (however this is contradictary to @Tigersol 's idea)
@LordTachanka123 It could have also have gone to many other planes, such as Kaladesh, though in Kaladesh instead of embracing it, they were inspired by it

Amolga? The name has no inspiration whatsoever? Ok, then. The Amolga idea sounds great!
"But what about Dominaria?"

- Are we bringing back snow mana?
- Can we make a pun off of "biting"(https://www.mtgassist.com/card_scans/SOI/Rabid-Bite.png) and make a sub-mechanic based off of it call "frostbite"?
