A Message to the Community

Hello there, fellow Cardsmith League participants. I wanted to touch on a topic that may be relevant to many of us - having multiple accounts. While I understand that having multiple accounts may seem like a way to avoid reaching card capacity, or perhaps experimenting with new ideas that might not receive the same understanding from your followers as your main creations do, it's important to keep in mind that this creates a conflict of interest for the judges who are tasked with evaluating your creations.

The purpose of Cardsmith League is to fairly evaluate all of the cards that you create, but when creations are spread across multiple accounts, it is not possible for us to keep up with your latest creations. Additionally, it can create the perception that one account is being favored over others, even if that's not the case.

I would like to encourage everyone to consider using just their main account on MTGCardsmith and filling it to the maximum capacity before creating cards on and additional account. This will ensure that your creations are evaluated fairly and that there is no confusion regarding which account is the "main" one. After all, the website gifts premium to the winners and increased card capacity is a perk of premium.

While I cannot force anyone to do anything, I hope that you will consider this request as a way to ensure a level playing field for all Cardsmith League participants. Let's work together to make this a fair and enjoyable competition for everyone involved.
