@SpellPiper2213 - Prizes are called "Keys." When you open a box, you may use your latest key to open the box. Doing so guarantees another key in that box and activates the prize associated with your key. Most prizes can be used for yourself, gifted to someone else, or divided as you choose. Just announce this decision when using your key to open the box. If you forget to use your key to open a box or opt to not use it, there will be no more keys in your boxes until the next deadline.
Example: "I use TenebrisNemo's Key to open my box and will gift "the encounter" to [cardsmith]." -or- "I use the TenebrisNemo Key to open my box and will do "the encounter" myself."
Your mystery box contains:
TenebrisNemo's Key: Starts "an encounter."

Hey @Jadefire - holy smokes! I'm so happy to see you still like this! You know - i'm not one to complain about less work, but i can't help but notice how dim and grim this discussion feels compared to the original...... - i'd like to take a mediocre break from doing it - but - as you know, these are eternal - and you've helped make them so!
Let's roll these over into the discord one day and turn it into a whole knew ballgame...
I think part of the reason for the lowered involvement in this discussion is the deliberate effort to obsolesce this forum in favour of Discord, which has greatly reduced foot traffic on the forum and made it difficult for new visitors finding this discussion. I don't think it would necessarily be that different even if the original Mystery Boxes discussion was still alive. A lot of the long-time regular participants are either silent or gone altogether. Even the original discussion had its down times. Thanks for the feedback on Annika!
