I think they would do a new Estrid PW Card... and interaction with a mask subtype... Hope they add this to older mask artifacts... A Artifact+Enchantment shared subtype would be nice
I have only 10 cards left to judge! I think I’ll be able to post the results sometime today or tomorrow. I’m going to go through and fave a bunch of entries now
This was another clean entry. The surveil combine with its ability and the right deck could make this too powerful, but not really unstoppable, so I actually liked this entry. I just feel like there were some cards that were a little better.
This was another cool card! I feel like creativity wise, this was a hit! The power level of this card was a little weird for me to judge. I liked the cycle of masks, although this one broke it a little bit (That’s not a problem). Just like Masked Rouge, I feel like there were some cards that were just better.
If the artist was credited, this would have been a serious contender for 3rd place. I feel like the -3 should maybe be -4? But I still like it as it is.
Of all the masks you made, most of them had slight wording errors or seemed to powerful or underpowered. This one was executed very well! I still feel like this should be mythic, but I still like it!
The flavor of this card is impeccable! It embodies the feel of masks. The art worked really well! My problem is this card basically allows you to look at an opponent’s had every turn. The flavor of this card really helped it shine!
Wow! This card was simple, yet effective. It embodies masks well and is balanced overall! This is definitely perfect for this contest! This card was a VERY serious contender for 3rd place!
This was definitely my favorite card in this contest! I really wanted to give this 1st! Everything about this card made me like this a lot! For me, the scrying added a more mysterious, masked effect that made this card even better! Nice job!
Honestly, this card wasn’t my very favorite. When I started to look at this a little more critically, I started to like it more and more. I loved the simplicity of this design as well, it communicates so much with so little!
I loved how this card was so different from the rest. This one was more about removing masks and that made it quite creative! I don’t think this effect is too overpowered because it can only work on an equipped or enchanted creature. I also loved this because of its incredible flavor. Congrats on earning first place!!!!
The top 4 were extremely hard to order. Each of them were very simple and effective designs which I learned to like a lot! Termite1, Faiths_Guide, benw, and TenebrisNemo made this contest very difficult to judge. Good job!

Near Misses (These cards barely missed HM’s and Placing):
Opera Masquerade by @TenebrisNemo
This is a brilliant card, but like Phelgming said, I believe this can steal too many cards from your opponents.
Masked Rouge by @Faiths_Guide
This was another clean entry. The surveil combine with its ability and the right deck could make this too powerful, but not really unstoppable, so I actually liked this entry. I just feel like there were some cards that were a little better.

Kakusu of Stark Divinities by @TheSuturedHeartMan
This was a very interesting card! A few wording mistakes detracted from the overall cards though.
Mask Decree by @Faiths_Guide
This was a very interesting card! I feel like this could be way too oppressive against decks like aggro or burn decks.
Masked Aristocrats by @TenebrisNemo
Beautifully executed card! This wasn’t the most flavorful right away, but I grew to like this design!
Maron of the Many Masks by @shmoohawk
This card fit this contest so perfectly! But since I made crediting the artist one-tenth of my judging this dropped down from the top cards.
Estrid of the Dark Masks by @ThePhantomJoker
If the artist was credited, this would have been a serious contender for 3rd place. I feel like the -3 should maybe be -4? But I still like it as it is.
That took me too long...
